Yesterday, xero asked me how to install install Mac OS X Leopard on non mac hardware. I will write an article about it. I make this guide for my machine and hardware. Different hardware need different setup. This guide is for AMD. NOT FOR INTEL.
Backup your data before something bad happen to your hdd
For this guide I’m using my Compaq Presario v3614au.
CPU 1.9GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core
RAM 1.5GB DDR2 667MHz
Hard Drive 120GB SATA
Drive DVDRW+/- dual layer
Graphic Card nVidia Geforce Do 7150 3D graphics up to 559MB
Wireless Broadcom 802.11a/b/g LAN
Audio Conexant HD Audio
Others : Bluetooth, 56k Modem & 10/100Mbps LAN
What do you need?
1. Leopard DVD image. Leopard-10.5.2-AMD-EFI
2. Blank dvd+r
3. Any blank External HDD drive*
4. Any buring software (i use Alcohol 120%)
5. you need to know what is your hardware
* leopard cant detect my internal HDD. i have to use external drive.
Why use external drive?
In my case, for the hard drive, yes. because os x can’t detect my hard drive(windows say it is Fujitsu SATA). i have to choose external to install it. by the way, you can use thumb drive. but maybe a little bit slow.
so i have xp on my internal drive and Leopard on my external drive.

Open Windows. Download Leopard-10.5.2-AMD-EFI from the net. Where to find that? Google, Bay or Nova.

Put the a blank dvd in the dvd burner.

Burn* it with any burning software(like Alcohol 120%).
*i suggest you burn it at the lower speed. 4x
Done and shut down Windows.
On Your pc.
Go into Bios. Change the Boot Order preference.
like this :

1st boot : USB external drive
2nd boot : DVDROM
3rd boot : HDD
Exit bios. Reboot.

Insert the burned ISO into dvd drive and boot it. Wait for the DVD to boot up. Select your language.

Click Agree(as you accept the T&A).
Go to Disk Utility(You can find in the toolbar at the top of your screen).

Select the hard drive. Erase and format it to HFS+ Mac OS Extended (journaled) and name it Leopard.

Important: Click on options and select Master Boot record. If you skip this, you wont be able to boot
to Leopard after installation. To do so click Options… button, and choose Master Boot Record.

make sure it MBR (master boot record)
Exit Disk Utility.
Select a Hard Drive to install Leopard onto.

Install OS X with Customizations.

In the installer, I select:
Essential System Software
Additional Fonts (Optional)
Language Translations (Optional)
Third Party Driver
Audio driver > no (because no kext available)
Chipset > NForce 2/3/4/5
Graphic Driver > Nvidia 10.5.2 kext & NvGeForceGO
Network &WiFi > Broadcom Wifi
EFI in MBR v.8
proceed.
You can skip the “Checking Instalation Dvd” process.

Wait about 2o to 30 minutes.
Finish.

Restart. Eject the DVD. Fill the registration form and done.
Yea, you have leopard on your machine.

Special thanks to Zephyroth, Ka911, and others who help make this great release. Need some help? go insanelymac or Osx.kbot.de or osx86.wikidot.com
